“This tour was incredibly insightful. Our guide was like an encyclopedia! He knew every little detail and wanted to share them. The hotels were absolutely fabulous. The Amalia brand is wonderful! The sights we stopped at were perfect for those who want a taste of Ancient Greece. My only complaints, provide a better itinerary both on the viator platform and to the participants, include driving times, locations of overnight stays and any free time/down time. “On Day 1, the sunset bus tour was great. The guide was fantastic. (I’m not sure how to spell his name) but he grew up in Kalampaka and had lots of knowledge to share. Ending the tour at Sunset rock was a great was to end the day. On Day 2, we enjoyed the morning hike with Evangelos which was awesome. A good easy hike for most people, we hiked to the Great Meteora Monastery which is the oldest in Meteora. Finally, we also did the sunset hiking tour of the hermit caves, hiked up to the monk prison.
